Located in St. Louis, Missouri, this workplace café renovation transformed an existing multipurpose space into a hospitality-inspired destination designed to support the evolving ways employees work, connect, and collaborate. The project converted an underutilized area into a vibrant gathering space that encourages both focused work and spontaneous interaction throughout the day.

Anchored by a striking double-sided fireplace and a custom curved cash wrap, the café offers a variety of settings tailored to different workstyles, including lounge groupings, a community table, perch and soft seating. The thoughtful mix of environments allows users to seamlessly transition between individual work, informal meetings, social gatherings, and moments of respite.

Drawing inspiration from the organization’s rich history, the design balances timeless materials and refined detailing with modern workplace amenities. Warm finishes, curated furnishings, and layers of texture create a welcoming atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and approachable. More than a coffee shop, the space serves as a destination within the workplace—a place where employees can gather, collaborate, and build community while enjoying an elevated hospitality experience.
